MarkupMate is a web application that helps tradespeople and contractors process supplier invoices and quotes, apply price markups, and generate professional customer documents. By using MarkupMate, you agree to these terms.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate business information during registration.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use MarkupMate only for lawful business purposes. You must not use the service to create fraudulent invoices, misrepresent prices to customers, or engage in any deceptive business practices.
4. Your Data
You retain ownership of all documents you upload to and generate with MarkupMate. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your invoices, quotes, or business data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
5. AI Processing
MarkupMate uses AI to read and extract data from supplier invoices and quotes. While we strive for high accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing extracted data before generating customer documents. We recommend checking line items, quantities, and prices before sending documents to customers.
6. Beta Period
During the beta period, MarkupMate is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with advance notice. Beta users will receive preferential pricing and early access to new features.
7. Limitation of Liability
MarkupMate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any errors in AI-extracted data, generated documents, or any business decisions made based on information from the service. You should always verify generated documents before sending to customers.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
